Walgate Wines is Ben Walgate's post-Tillingham project, established in 2023 in Rye, East Sussex. 

This is his ridiculously good value, fresh House White, made with locally grown and wild-fermented Auxerrois and Ortega. Unfined, and unfiltered this is bright, pale straw gold in appearance. On the nose, warm stone fruit present with tropical notes and a touch of lychee. Well textured, with a soft acidity, and generous mouthfeel this is an excellent English wine, both experimental and accessible.
