Codorniu Zero, Alcohol Free Sparkling Wine (0%ABV)

A de-alcoholised sparkler made from the Xarel·lo, Chardonnay variety; showing fresh sweet tropical fruit, apple and citrus flavours on a rich, fruity palate. The alcohol is gently removed by an innovative vacuum distillation system at low temperatures, minimising the loss of flavour characteristics. Pale straw-gold with a gentle fizz it shows notes of sweet tropical fruit and blossom.

We love this as a toast drink but also goes great with a risotto or fish. At less than 0.5% ABV, suitable for vegans, gluten free and just 78 calories per 250ml glass its guilt free as well!

This includes removing sugar pre fermentation to more sophisticated techniques of spinning the alcohol out through cones. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.
